Our fourth competition of the season was judged by Eddy Lane from Calne Camera Club. Eddy is well known to us, having judged previously on a number of occasions, and he always provides feedback in a constructive and positive manner. His advice on enhancing the dramatic impact of an image by adopting different camera positions was well heeded, as were his comments on cropping and mounting prints. The winning print was “Early Morning Mist” by Dave Bound.  After the print judging, Eddy shared some of his recent prints of wildlife and portraits.

A healthy number of projected images had been submitted and filled the second half of the evening. The sheer diversity of subject matter posed a challenging but enjoyable experience for the judge. The winning projected image was “The Builder” by Geoff Snowball.
