The Annual Competition marks the approaching close of the season and digital projected images were judged by Peter Weaver from Keynsham. As expected, there was a healthy number of entries in each of the three categories: Action; Portrait and Open as members competed for the silverware associated with this competition.

The judge’s comments and feedback were delivered in a relaxed and encouraging style and he had deferred his final placements until having viewed the images on our projector, which added to the suspense and anticipation of the evening.

The winning images for each of the categories were as follows:

– Action: “Territorial Conflict” by Geoff Snowball

– Portrait: “Brown Hare” by Geoff Snowball

– Open: “Shaggy Ink Cap” by Mark Palmer

The overall winning image of the evening was awarded to the Brown Hare by Geoff Snowball.

We will all congregate again next Tuesday when Peter Weaver will judge the Annual Competition Prints entries.
