On Tuesday, many members of the club visited Highworth Community Centre, where the annual tri-battle between Highworth, Cirencester and Royal Wootton Bassett was held.

As Highworth hosted this years battle, they made both Cirencester and us very welcome.

The judge of the evening was Eddy Lane ARPS DPAGB, who we have had the pleasure of his company many times in the past.

The final result was a very close win for Cirencester with 42 points to Highworths 41 points, with Royal Wootton Bassett coming third with 37 points.

We did managed to get a few entries that won their round, those being Adam Kowalczyk, Dave Garmont, and Linda Broadhurst, but well done to you all.

Even though we came third it was a very good evening, with excelent comments from Eddy, but then again it was not un-expected.

At the close of the evening, the chairman Bob Nunns thanked Highworth for their great evening, and invited the other two clubs to Royal Wootton Bassett next year as it is our turn to host it.
