Traditionally the first meeting of the new season is the presentation of awards to winners from the previous season and an Open evening for visitors. We were delighted to be joined by the Mayor of Royal Wootton Bassett, Councillor Mike Farrow to present the Awards to our competition winners. It was an enjoyable evening and it was particularly rewarding to see some new faces in attendance, whom hopefully will join the Club.
After the presentations, the Mayor made a brief address acknowledging the important role that Clubs like ours play in developing and supporting the local community. Following a refreshment break, a short presentation on mobile phone photography was made by Rob Slade and then we enjoyed a spell-binding audio-visual presentation on China by Adam Kowalczyk.
