In what has become an annual event for the last 9 years, the Club members spent an enjoyable evening viewing the WCPF travelling print portfolio. This consisted of around 100 prints that had not been displayed earlier in the year and which were circulated around the photographic clubs in the region. Most of the prints were monochromatic and covered a wide spectrum of styles and subject matter. Each individual print was displayed to the audience and a lot of lively discussion followed on both the technical aspects of the image as well as its aesthetic qualities and intentions. Whilst photographic appreciation is a very personal matter, there were a number of truly outstanding prints that received widespread acclaim from the whole audience.
