The customary display of the Annual Competition winning prints and other support images took place in the RWB Library and received favourable comments from the many visitors who looked at the exhibition. In total 28 prints were exhibited across two display areas with a small display in the library entrance foyer and the main display in the main building by the IT section.
Visitors who signed the visitors book left very positive comments on the quality of the prints on display and 24 voting slips were completed. The results of the public vote was as follows:
First Place – Hairy Biker with 8 votes
Tied Second Place – Autumn Mist with 6 votes
Tied Second Place – Rainbow over Loch Scavaigh with 6 votes
Thanks are extended to all those who helped with the exhibition through offering their work for display, setting up, manning and then finally dismantling the exhibition. The Club also wishes to express its thanks to the RWB Library staff for their assistance throughout the fortnight and arranging the loan of display panels. We will have to wait and see what effect the planned modifications to the Library will have and any possible impact on space availability for the 2018 exhibition
