This rescheduled meeting invited members to show their audio-visual presentations and attracted a lot of inputs. The first half was dominated by the ‘opus magnus’ of Adam Kowalczyk, who shared his epic 40 minute AV documenting his time at Southampton Medical School in the early 1970’s. With the early part in black and white, this AV gave a great insight into the life of a medical student and their social life, from admission through to graduation and was accompanied by many well known 70’s sound tracks.

In the second half, Barry Davis showed a number of his AVs covering Norway, the Club’s summer outing to Portsmouth Dockyard and a couple of emotive presentations on conservation and other social issues. Presentations on Iceland, some USA National Parks and South Africa completed the evening which provided a thought provoking and enjoyable experience.
