The Club held its annual Christmas meal in a private room at The Wiltshire, Hotel, Golf and Leisure Club and those members who were able to attend had a very enjoyable evening. Pre-dinner drinks were taken in the Golf Club bar before adjourning to The Avebury Room for a three course dinner, followed by coffee, mints and mince pies. The set menu choices were ample, the food was plentiful and backed up by attentive waitress service. As usual, everyone was “off-duty” and no-one had brought along their camera, so a couple of snapshots were recorded for posterity on the ubiquitous mobile phone.

Our next and final activity in 2017 is to photograph the Christmas lights in RWB on December 19th, after which a well deserved mulled wine could be sought in a local hostelry.
